The Paper Players #547

I have so been missing out on the challenges at The Paper Players! I have good intentions each week, and before you know it, Friday has come and gone! I made it today…plus it is only Thursday! Here is the original sketch design in case you want to play along-

I have brand new toys! This is by far my favorite set in the new July/August catalog from Close To My Heart. The Wander Cardmaking Workshop kit comes with these super fun Thin Cut dies and coordinating stamps! The kit comes with supplies to create 16 cards, 4 of each design. Full color directions are included if you want the step by step version. For me, I usually beat to my own drummer and create my own version. Here is a look at the kit contents-

To create my moonlight mountain scene, I started by die cutting the mountain die in Mink and the blue star paper. I cut a larger circle and layered my shapes onto it. I added in the moon and clouds dies. How cute are they? I love the bitty elements! I sponged on some ink for a little texture to the mountains. The completed scene was popped up with 3-D foam tape for added dimension.

My scene is mounted against a stitched rectangle panel of Mink cardstock. The sentiment is stamped in Sapphire ink. I added a few bitty stars from the same stamp set as well as a few confetti stars for a little sparkle. Stay tuned for sun version!

  1. This is such an amazing card and I love your mountain top. I struggled with our photo this week at JUGS, and I love where your mind took you. Thanks for being with us at The Paper Players and Just Us Girls.
