Wishing You Well

Combining a few of my favorite challenges today! I just received the fabulous Coneflower die that has been all the rage and couldn’t wait to create with it! It was love at first sight with this die…..but I stayed on the fence on whether or not I really needed it! Once I decided I had to have it, it was sold out everywhere! Finally, it has arrived! This is creation one of many to come. My card is based on the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches

I combined the sketch challenge with the fun color challenge over at The Paper Players. I chose the additional color of green to complete my card.

My card is super simple to create and was mostly created from my scrap stash. The layered die seriously creates the card for you! I started my card by layering a white embossed panel onto Wild Berry cardstock. I then matted a stitched rectangle panel with Wild Berry to follow the sketch design. My Coneflower die was cut in Wild Berry, Smokey Plum and New England Ivy cardstock. I added in shading with Copics and details with a white gel pen. The key to getting great dimension with this die, is to apply each layer with 3-D foam tape.

My wishing you well sentiment is from the new For All Occasions stamp set. I am a firm believer in that you can never have too many sentiment stamp sets! This set of 26 is a new release and is the perfect addition to your collection.
